    Rick was one of the first people to ever write a showbiz gossip column and a pioneer of the field in the 80s and ever since he has honed his craft in a career that has spanned four decades.

    Among his achievements are editing the daily gossip columns of three national newspapers, The Sun, The Daily Star and The Daily Mirror.

    He has been responsible for breaking thousands of the biggest showbiz stories and over the years Rick has travelled the globe to interview numerous legends of the entertainment world including Michael Jackson, Prince, Madonna and Amy Winehouse.

    Editor

    After cutting his teeth as a local newspaper reporter Philip quickly moved into the showbiz and entertainment field. After excelling in all aspects of BANG’s business he quickly moved through the ranks to spearhead the agency building a team of ambitious journalists.

    He has supplied major stories to all the British popular newspapers, including The Sun, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail and Daily Star, has interviewed a number of major Hollywood, TV and music stars and has a contacts book bulging with the major names in the entertainment field. He is a specialist in online media and is responsible for fine tuning BANG’s internet news services and web products.

  • Viki Waters

    Deputy Editor

    Viki has a solid background in showbiz and entertainment news, with a particular interest in music. After graduating from the University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in journalism, she spent two years working as assistant editor for teen pop magazine tvhits! before spending six months in Dubai as features editor of the Middle Eastern edition of OK! magazine.

    Her responsibilities include generating stories, editing and sending out news wires to contacts, attending events and interviews, as well as organising the admin side of the desk such as shift and holiday rotas, recruitment and training of new staff members.

    Clive joined BANG Showbiz in 2003 and is ever since responsible for marketing and sales. He successfully implemented a content-provider-model and accompanied BANG to the leading supplier for entertainment news in the world. Due to the close cooperation with both, customers and editors, Clive managed to develop BANG’s outstanding service platform.

    Masato joined BANG in 2009 and rapidly built BANG’s position in Japan and the Far East.

    He has been responsible for leading the global expansion of BANG into several new language markets using his multi-lingual skills to develop partnerships in multiple territories.

    Amy Roberts

    TV Editor

    Amy joined BANG in 2013 as an intern after she completed her fast-track NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists) and quickly became a showbiz expert. She worked for the company in Ireland and Australia before she returned to the UK office to take over as TV Editor.

    She knows soap storylines like the back of her hand and has a strict television routine every night to ensure she doesn’t miss a single show. She gets over excited when Celebrity Big Brother returns to screens and can’t help but criticise the stars’ footwork on Strictly Come Dancing and she’s interviewed more top TV stars than Ant & Dec have overseen Bushtucker Trials on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
